Who should attend?

This conference is focused on unintentional injuries to children and adolescents, but may include some workshops focused on intentional injuries. As injury prevention requires a multi-disciplinary approach, we encourage professionals from diverse disciplines to attend. Individuals who will benefit from the conference include:

  • Public health and medical professionals
  • EMS and public safety specialists;
  • Injury prevention specialists,
  • Youth involved in childhood injury prevention;
  • Community health educators; and
  • Others involved in injury prevention or related fields from public, private and non-profit sectors.
Injuries are not accidents. Injuries can be prevented.

These projects are supported in part by funds received from:

California, Department of Health Services, Maternal and Child Health Branch;
