Activities include:
- Hosting the Injury Prevention Web family of sites
- A weekly update of the injury research and prevention literature at the Website: SafetyLit.org
- The Older Adults Traffic Safety Policy Development Project
- The California Kids Plates Project
- Production of the Annual California Childhood Injury Control Conference
- Providing technical assistance to state and local coalitions to prevent residential pool drowning among children
- In-depth technical assistance to state and regional Maternal & Child Health agencies on accessing and utilizing injury data
- Conducting training workshops on injuries and prevention strategies
- Developing materials to assist government agencies, community organizations, and others with the development and implementation of injury prevention programs.
