Seasons Greetings Grantees

With the holidays upon us and the new year right around the corner, I am reminded of how grateful I am to live in California. My recent trip to Idaho, where many injury prevention efforts are still struggling to take hold, made me reaqlize how fortunate we are to have such progressive injury prevention programs and activities in California. I sencerely applaud each of you for the important role you play in giving California this distinction. I wish you a very safe and happy holiday season! See you next year!

Speaking of next year...you should all have received information about the mandatory meeting being held on Tuesday, january 15th from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Sacramento. For thgose of you coming-in the night before, I'd like to suggest that you make a reservation at the Courtyard by Marriot located at 2101 River Drive in Sacramento (1/4 mile from the meeting place). To make a reservation, call 1 (800) 321-2211 and ask for the $84 state rate.
