Kids’ Plates Grantee Program Updates

It’s time to send in your first Kids’ Plates program invoice. All Kids’ Plates grantees must

submit an invoice at least once every three months. If you have had no expenditures thus far, please submit an invoice that reflects this. If you have already submitted at least one invoice… thank you!

Hopcraft Communications, our marketing gurus, hold at least one marketing teleconference per month. All grantees must participate in at least one of these before May 2003. Please be sure to check your scope of work and marketing menu to ensure that you are on track with all of your Kids’ Plates marketing activities.

Remember that CD-ROM given out at the Kids’ Plates grantee meeting in September 2002? It contains all of the templates needed to carry out the invoicing, budget amendment, and reporting components of your grants, as well as the grantee marketing requirements and helpful marketing tools.

“Verbal” Quarterly Report

I am in the process of making calls to all 2002-2003 Kids’ Plates grantees to determine how program activities are moving along, help “trouble-shoot”, provide any needed technical, program, or fiscal assistance, and ascertain marketing activity progress. Think of it as a “verbal” quarterly report. It’s quick, it’s painless, and it helps keep things on track. If I haven’t talked with you already, please expect my call soon. If you’d like to report in, feel free to give me a call at 619-594-5039.
